It’s official— the Blue Volt has made a massive impression on New Yorkers, especially on those who work in Midtown. After the launch of The Blue Volt comic book, we sent our team to Bryant Park and Madison Square Park to hand out free copies and hear some reactions. Just as we predicted, our fellow New Yorkers loved the comic book so much that many of them inquired about getting their hands on more copies! Take a look at the story of The Blue Volt, below, and scroll down to see how you can get your own copy today.
For those of you who don’t already know, Midtown’s favorite new superhero, The Blue Volt, made his comic book debut, based on the short film The Blue Volt: Service, Speed, and the VPM Way, on July 15, 2015. Village Print & Media’s in-house team of creatives collaborated to bring the story of Mr. DéLai, Ms. Tizzy, and The Blue Volt to life through a printed piece embedded with Augmented Reality, just to make things more interesting. Using the free AR technology application, Layar, easily scan the front of the comic book to see The Blue Volt blast through Midtown and save Ms. Tizzy’s more than regrettable day.
