New Yorkers are in for a serious treat this summer. Next week, the Museum of Ice Cream is finally opening its doors to the public. The best way to describe NYC’s newest pop-up shop is with Willy Wonka’s famous phrase “come with me and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination.” Located on Gansevoort St. in the Meatpacking District, this creamery will send your tastes buds to a whole new world as you sample your way through some of the most delicious and exotic flavors of ice cream that exist. But the best part about this edible Museum is—wait for it— a swimmable sprinkle pool. Dreams do come true.

Cofounder Maryellis Bunn designed it to be a “lick-able, likable, shareable ice cream-centric experience,” where she encourages people to create “their own ice cream story.” Some sponsors include Black Tap and the infamous OddFellows Ice Cream Co., that have donated various flavors for visitors to indulge in. For all single foodies in NYC, Tinder has collaborated with them to create a very tasteful date. After finding your flavor match in Tinder Land, matches can ride on the ice cream sandwich swing or the ice cream scooper see-saw. Food futurist Dr. Irwin Adam will host his Future Food Studio, where you’ll be able to dive into all of his newest treats.
