Social media has become a hub of creativity, allowing people to connect with others who share similar passions to find instant inspiration. Today, our Director of Marketing, Emily McNally, who began at VPM as a Graphic Designer, shares with us her favorite Instagram accounts from creatives who have been influential in her career.
Instagram is definitely my favorite social media application of the moment. As a designer, I enjoy all things visual and love being able to get inspiration on the go while scrolling through my feed. It’s also really awesome to see what other young women are doing in the creative world. Here are three of my favorite female designers and their Instagram accounts:
Bri Emery (@designlovefest)
Bri is an art director and lifestyle blogger based in Los Angeles. She started her blog, designlovefest, in 2009 out of her own passion for type and images. Since then, it has evolved into a full-service studio offering graphic design, branding, and various creative workshops, including Blogshop.

Jessica Walsh (@jessicavwalsh)
Jessica is an art director, designer, and partner at Sagmeister & Walsh in New York City. Even though she’s only 28 years old, she has an extremely impressive list of achievements: interning at Pentagram, working as an art director for Print Magazine, and partnering with the legendary Stefan Sagmeister to form their current studio.

Laura Karasinski (@laurakarasinski)
Laura is an art director based in Vienna, Austria. She is the owner of Atelier Karasinski, a design agency that she founded in 2012 consisting of independent artists working together on a project-related basis. The team creates a variety of print and digital communications for clients around the world, including Yves Saint Laurent and Absolut Vodka.
