What’s more worthy of a front page headline than the homeless taking over the streets of NYC and topless female performers in Times Square? What would force a New Yorker to abandon their home and flea the greatest city in the world? Kanye becoming the President of America, brah.
As you have heard, Kanye West announced that he would be running for President in 2020 at MTV’s Video Music Awards this past Sunday night. We aren’t going to spend any time attempting to breakdown, analyze, or comprehend what the hell he was saying during his acceptance speech as winner of MTV’s Vanguard Award. Furthermore, we aren’t going to question anything about how he would lead this country, with Kim Kardashian as its first lady (terrifying thought, we know). What we have done is asked our teammates at VPM what they would do if Kanye became the 46th President of the United States of America. Here’s what they had to say:
“I would stick around for the sake of watching “Keeping Up with the Kardashians in the White House,” every Sunday, hoping the finale showed Kanye being impeached. Imagine those ratings?”– Brie French-Sorgini, Director of PR & Media
“I would be on the first flight to Australia. That’s it, brah.” – Nicole Prechtl, Sales Manager
“I would run for President, and trounce him, in 2024.”– Joe Ryder, Director of Sales
“I would do nothing except live my life as I have continued to live it. Some of our last Presidents have been among the worst of all-time, and I’d have no problem in seeing how a political neophyte like West or Trump would handle the job.”– Issacc Cearc, Implementation Coordinator
“If Kanye West became the President of the United States of America, then something went horribly wrong with our 45th President.”– Anik Ghose, Social Media Strategist
