Anything that can offer quick solutions to every day problems for New Yorkers is worth taking note of. We recently came across a few videos about a new pocket-sized card that melts and takes shape of anything you need. Created by designer Peter Marigold, FORMcard is a meltable bioplastic that, once melted in a cup of hot water, can instantly take shape of varies kinds of emergency tools, like a screwdriver or a stand-in for tape. Other handy gadgets it can form into are things like a corkscrew for a wine bottle or a stand to hold an iPhone. It also has the ability to fix a broken heel or handle that rips off of a bag at the most inconvenient time. Not too shabby, huh? Check out FORMcard in the videos below and let us know what you think on Twitter.
