Village Print & Media is excited to announce the appointment of Ariel Markowitz as Director of Creative Services!
“Ariel Markowtiz is dedicated to VPM’s client base on an extraordinary level,” said Joe Ryder, Director of Sales at Village Print & Media. “I’m happy to endorse her as Director of Creative Services because she is one of the most innovative and creative employees I have ever worked with.”
A native New Yorker, Ariel understands the demands of her clients, and loves the adrenaline that comes with the pace of this business and being located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. As a trained graphic designer and photographer with a background in fine arts, Ariel began working in Village Invites with brides and individuals on personal stationery and invitations. Her love for the creative collaborative process, her understanding and ability to provide phenomenal customer service, and her talented management skills have groomed her to quickly rise to the occasion in this new position.
Enthusiastic to take on the part of Director of Creative Services, Ariel said, “ I’m so incredibly excited about this position and all that it entails. VPM has an indescribable energy that floods the office and inspires me every day. I am constantly impressed with the work ethic and support of my colleagues as we grow as a company and change the face of the industry. I hope to continue that excitement and expand upon what we can offer our clients that has yet to hit the market. Each of my talented departments makes the potential for what’s possible endless.”
Prior to joining the VPM team, Ariel worked as a designer in high-end print production for various industries, including publishing. With this, she also has a background in marketing consulting. Ariel said that, “While all of my prior endeavors have influenced where I am today, none have been quite as fulfilling as what I do here.”
When Ariel isn’t busy making magic happen, she is taking pottery classes (yes, like the movie Ghost). She also enjoys painting and drawing in her free time, and says that she could eat grilled cheese sandwiches everyday for the rest of her life.
